MS Nordstjernen 1956 – nostalgic mailboat voyages – a look ahead to 2027
We are currently planning our programme for 2027, although the details have not yet been finalised. As an advance announcement for all Nordstjernen enthusiasts – and for those who have made Norway one of their favourite countries – we are delighted to share the first details of our 18-day voyage aboard our dear Stjerna following in the footsteps of the traditional Norwegian coastal express ships. The voyage will take place from 7 to 25 May 2027, sailing round trip from Warnemünde/Germany, and will retrace the itinerary of the cancelled May 2026 voyage. A particular highlight will be the celebration of 17 May, Norway’s National Day, in Tromsø. This will be Nordstjernen’s only voyage in 2027 venturing this far north. In addition, we are planning a summer voyage round trip from Bremerhaven to Scotland, and possibly a shorter voyage to the Baltic Sea in autumn. As soon as all the brochures have been completed, our newsletter will provide full details of the 2027 voyages.
Vestland Classic Voyages 2027
In addition to our nostalgic mailboat voyages, which we continue to plan and organise ourselves, just as we did in the past, and which we naturally accompany personally, there will also be a number of voyages in 2027 that have been developed by Vestland Classic. These voyages are marketed by Vestland Classic as well as through other travel providers and me. The programme is currently being prepared and is not yet fully finalised.
